To say I am excited about starting my career as an animal chiropractor would be an understatement. Part of becoming a human chiropractor for me was so that I could go into animal chiropractic. I have seen the incredible benefits that chiropractic care can have on someone's health, regardless of how many legs they have!

I have started a new mobile animal chiropractic business which I have called Dynamic Animal Chiropractic. I am based in Baldivis, Western Australia.

I am incredibly passionate about whole animal health and working with the body's incredible ability to heal from within. I also plan to add other modalities to my services, such as laser and other soft tissue modalities, but for now the focus is chiropractic.

From the perspective of a human chiropractor, I am slowly learning that taking care of our own health has a hugely positive effect on the health of our animals, and learning to take better care of myself has also improved my patient outcomes.
Last but not least, I am very passionate about client and patient education. I have seen the difference it makes, and aim to better educate my community on the benefits of chiropractic care.

I am so grateful to be a member of the IVCA. To be part of an international association that encourages the professional development of animal chiropractors is really special. There is always more to learn and I am excited to expand my knowledge base.

Hello awesome colleagues! I love being a veterinarian! I own Siamese cats and Shiba Inu dogs as well as a Border Terrier and a French Bulldog and a Schnoodle. I also earned an Alexandrine parrot, a Indian Ringneck parrot and two budgies.

I own small animal veterinary hospital in Calgary, Alberta Canada working in alternative and conventional medicine and surgery. I love focusing on acupuncture, chiropractic, herbal medicine, massage therapy, essential oil, therapy, diet management, dentistry, surgery, and more!

I feel honoured to be able to help my beloved patients with these modalities. I love being able to help animals live out their natural lives in a healthy, happy and holistic way!

I really appreciate being a member of associations such as the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association (IVCA) and respect the hard work of my colleagues within these organizations! Thank you so much! God bless you and your patients!

Hi, my name is Matthew Sippel.

My wife Dr Sharith and I have been IVCA certified animal chiropractors since 2011. Over the past 14 years, my wife and I have been blessed to help many dogs, cats and horses along the eastern coast of Australia. Our clinic is on 1.5 acres in the Lockyer Valley, Queensland, which allows us plenty of room to accommodate animals both large and small. I love attending Campdrafts and adjusting well-mannered horses, I also have a large clientele of the smaller animals. I really enjoy talking to dog breeders and getting their take on what makes their specific breed of dog special.

Having grown up on the farms in Australia, I can’t go past the Australian Blue heeler, they have a fierce reputation for being cunning, loyal, protective, intelligent and when you have won their trust you have a mate for life!

I also love the unique skill set of being able to work with horse and rider at events. We have a decked out mobile clinic 5th wheeler trailer that we enjoy taking away for event weekends.

We are so grateful to have this skill and improve the life of many animals……. And humans.

We are looking forward to helping the next generation of IVCA certified animal chiropractors by assisting and supporting the next IVCA exam being held in Australia this year!

2023 IVCA Conference and AGM

Our former IVCA secretary Helga Thorwartl passed away on the 4th of October.

Helga started to build up a functioning IVCA secretary on the 29th of July 2006. She was a reliable partner for our members  and the school owners. Her calm, determined nature was always a great help for everyone involved in the IVCA.
To enjoy her retirement Helga gave the office in younger hands and handed over to Kirstin. Helga’s last years were marked by serious illness. On the 4th of October she has lost that fight and passed away. We will always keep her in honorable memory. Our sincere condolences go to her family.
