Focus on the Equine Spine
Focus on the Equine Spine offers international post-academic courses for equine veterinarians and licensed equine physiotherapists interested in the pathology, diagnostics, therapy and rehabilitation of spinal-related disorders and dysfunction in horses. Recent advances in spinal research, diagnostic methods, and imaging techniques have increased awareness of the prevalence and clinical significance of previously underappreciated or undiagnosed spinal and sacroiliac disorders in horses. Detailed spinal-pelvic examination, manual therapy with a focus on chiropractic techniques and specific rehabilitation programs provide an increased opportunity for effective management of neck, back and sacroiliac problems in horses.
