ABnR – Equine Chiropractic Basic Course Module II – Thoracolumbar Region and Frontlimbs
This course provides all the theoretical background as well as the practical skills you need to start working as a certified and high-quality equine chiropractor.
By focussing on horses we can deeply dive into the anatomy and functional biomechanics of the equine pelvis, back, neck and extremities.Rider-horse-interaction and insights into lameness exam will be covered including objective gait analysis.You will receive intense practical labs including new technologies to learn and improve your adjustment skills, to ensure, you are optimally prepared for professional treatments afterwards.
• Anatomy (topographical and functional)
• Biomechanics (global, segmental and functional)
• Gait analysis (subjective and objective)
• Pathology / understanding typical diagnoses and differential diagnoses
• Neurology (functional)
• Basics: horse-rider-interaction including saddle and bridle
• Therapeutic interventions and medical treatment protocols (manual and instrumental)
• Basics: Rehab options and protocols
• Client communication and integration
