The Osteopathic Functional Indirect Technique, F.I.T., is a very soft, non-pain full but deep acting technique. It calms the animal down which create a less stress full internal treatment environment. It is slowly releasing the soft tissue around the joints, so they can regain normal long-acting ROM. It can also be used on fascia, muscles and scars. It is very effect full for cranio-sacral therapy. Another benefit is how gentle it is for the veterinarian, reducing pain and stiffness from an overworked body.
Anatomy and biomechanics of the spine, sacrum, pelvis, ribs, diaphragm, sternum and extremities will be covered in short as this knowledge is a condition for participation. The different osteopathic lesions and the treatment method will be covered in theory and practical exercises.
The anatomy of the head and the theory of cranio-sacral therapy with normal function and the different lesions will be taught in theory and with practical exercises.
