Animal chiropractors that work with dogs are highly likely to have clients with a CCL repair in their history.  This course discusses normal stifle anatomy, the nature of the injury, and different surgical repair approaches (namely the extracapsular repair, tibial tuberosity advancement (TTA), tibial plateau leveling osteotomy (TPLO), and intracapsular repair.)  Typical components of the post-surgical home care rehabilitation program are also outlined.  However, it is NOT recommended to undertake the rehab protocol without the guidance and involvement of a certified veterinary rehab professional.
