Even if the clinic only recently was open, Geir has over 30 years of experience with chiropractic and animal chiropractic practicing at a human clinic in Oslo and Evidensia Veterinary clinic.
Geir graduated from Northwestern College of Chiropractic, USA in 1993. He took veterinary chiropractic courses given by the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association under leadership of Sharon Willoughby in 1993, and completed the basic animal chiropractic courses at Backbone in 2009. In addition to the chiropractic degrees, he holds a Master in public health from the University of Tromsø. He is dedicated to best evidenced based practice. He is doing animal chiropractic on dogs, and also still practice part-time in a human clinic.
Geir is active in long distance sled dog competitions, and have been competing at a high level finished races like Finnmarksløpet, Femundløpet and Pasvik Trail numerous times. He is a popular speaker in topics of dog injury prevention, animal chiropractic, mushing and physical training. He still have a small recreational team of Alaska huskies.
He is a previous member of the Management Committee of the IVCA, and has previously also served as the chairman of the Norwegian Veterinary Chiropractic Association (NVKF).
